CONCEPT DESIGN

Situated on vast, beautiful land of more than 1,000 rais (more than one kilometre alongside the Rungsit Canal) lies the splendor and terrain of Krung Kavee, perfectly suited for outdoor sports enthusiasts. Krung Kavee Golf Club was established in 1995 as a new community of golfers who appreciate luxurious, yet peaceful and serene natural surroundings as a comfort and escape from the crowded and bustling city life of Bangkok.

COURSE DESIGN

SIGNATURE HOLE

Hole 6

445 yds, par 4. High difficulty With diabolically placed sand traps directly in front of the green, this hole has gained a reputation as significantly more difficult than most par 4 holes.

Hole 9

The green is situated on an Island in the center of the lake 150 yds from the tee and requires precision to avoid the water hazard.

Hole 13

Just 375 yds, this challenging hole features a right-angle dogleg lined by long narrow sand traps and the lake. Making it one of the most difficult holes, especially for novices.

Krung Kavee Golf Course was meticulously designed by Mr. Manabu Sakamoto, a Japanese-American Landscape Architect/Designer. His illustrious and accomplished past course designs include:

Mr. Sakamoto's decades of experience as a licensed landscape architect is uniquely suited to the design needs of Krung Kavee. His skill is demonstrated via the well-integrated contours of the course and waterways. The waterways and irrigation are designed with the dual purpose of controlling pests and protecting the general public from course activity. Lakes and other water features also provide a necessary reservoir during the hot and dry season.
